Picuki does not work as an Instagram viewer anymore. For this Picuki review, I checked every Picuki domain I could find in October 2026. picuki.com now redirects to a TikTok viewer, picuki.me sent me to an ad redirect, picuki.io is a parked domain, and the iPhone app called Picuki charges up to $99.99 a year. If you want to browse public Instagram profiles without logging in, use a working alternative like Imginn instead, and stay away from copycat sites using the Picuki name.
A few years ago, Picuki was the name everyone gave you.
Want to see a public Instagram page without an account? Picuki. Want to save a photo? Picuki. Want to search a hashtag without logging in? Picuki again.
So when people still search for it today, I understand why. The name stuck around. The tool did not.
Here is what I found when I went looking for it.
What Picuki Used to Be
Picuki was a free, browser-based tool for Instagram content discovery. Most people knew it as the Picuki anonymous Instagram viewer, or just "the Picuki website".
How did it work? You typed a username or a hashtag, and it showed you public posts, Stories and profile details. It offered no-login access: no app, no account, no password. That made public profile browsing quick and easy.
It was popular for three reasons:
Anonymous browsing. Instagram lets every Story owner check who has seen their story. Because Picuki fetched public content without your account, your name did not show up on that list.
Hashtag search. You could explore a tag without opening Instagram.
A built-in online photo editor. It had image filters, image cropping and simple photo enhancement, which most viewers never offered.
It was a third-party service, not part of Instagram. And like every tool of this kind, it only ever worked on public content. Private account restrictions applied to Picuki too.
Is Picuki Still Working in 2026?
No, not as an Instagram viewer.
Several sites reported in 2025 that Picuki had switched to TikTok. I wanted to see it for myself, so I tested it.
What loaded when I typed picuki.com into my browser: a TikTok viewer called Tikvib.
When I typed picuki.com into Chrome, I did not land on Picuki at all. The browser moved me to tikvib.com, a TikTok viewer and downloader. There was no Instagram search box anywhere on the page.
So the short answer is simple. The Picuki website you remember is gone.
My Picuki Review: I Checked Every Picuki Domain I Could Find
The real problem is not that Picuki closed. It is that the name is still out there, and other people are using it.
So I tried every Picuki address that came up in search results and review sites. Here is where each one took me.
Where each Picuki address took me when I tested them in October 2026.
picuki.com: Now a TikTok Viewer
This is the original Picuki website. It now redirects to Tikvib, which offers TikTok video downloads, story viewing and profile statistics.
Tikvib itself looks like a normal tool. It just has nothing to do with Instagram. If you came for Instagram posts, you are in the wrong place.
picuki.me: An Ad Redirect
This one worried me.
When I opened picuki.me, it did not show a viewer. It bounced me straight to a different domain with a long tracking link. That link already contained my country, my city, my operating system and my browser.
I did not click anything on that page, and I closed it right away. This is exactly the kind of redirect that can lead to fake prize pages, unwanted downloads or worse.
picuki.io: A Parked Domain
picuki.io showed a plain "parked free, courtesy of GoDaddy" page with a button to buy the domain. Nothing else.
Harmless, but useless.
The Picuki App: A Paid Subscription
There is also an iPhone app on the App Store called "Picuki: Story Viewer & Saver". It is made by an individual developer, Gulluzar Ozdil, and has been around since 2019.
I could not find anything that links this app to the original Picuki website. It simply uses the same name.
Unlike the old website, it is not really free. The US App Store lists these in-app purchases:
InstaStory Pro: $6.99
Monthly Pro: $12.99
Yearly Pro: $99.99
One App Store reviewer complained that only viewing your own posts was free, and everything else needed a payment.
Picuki Features: Then vs Now
Here is the honest picture of the Picuki features and limitations people still search for.
Feature | What Picuki offered | What you get today |
|---|---|---|
Picuki public profile viewer | Public Instagram profiles | Gone from picuki.com |
Picuki Instagram post viewer | Instagram posts and captions | Gone from picuki.com |
Picuki Instagram story viewer | Public Instagram Stories | Gone from picuki.com |
Picuki Instagram Reels viewer | Instagram Reels | Gone from picuki.com |
Picuki Instagram Highlights viewer | Instagram Highlights | Gone from picuki.com |
Picuki hashtag search | Browse any public tag | Gone |
Picuki Instagram photo editor | Filters, cropping, enhancement | Gone |
Picuki profile picture downloader | A profile picture viewer in full size | Gone |
Picuki Instagram downloader | Image downloads and video downloads | Only through the paid app |
Price | Free access | App costs up to $99.99 a year |
The Picuki Instagram Story Viewer
The old Picuki story viewer was its biggest draw. You could watch public Instagram Stories without your name appearing on the viewer list.
That feature no longer exists on picuki.com. Today, you need a different tool for it.
The Picuki Photo Editor
This was the feature that made Picuki different. You could open an Instagram photo and edit it right in the browser, with image filters and cropping.
It disappeared with the Instagram side of the site. If you just need a quick online photo editor, any free photo editing tool will do the same job.
Downloads and Copyright Considerations
Content saving was a big reason people used Picuki. It let people save Instagram posts as image downloads and video downloads. Media formats were usually the same JPG and MP4 files Instagram serves, so image quality depended on what the account had uploaded.
One thing I always remind people: saving a public photo does not make it yours. Copyright considerations still apply. You cannot repost or use someone else's content without their permission.
Is Picuki Free? Pricing, Promo Codes and Offers
The original Picuki website was free to use, supported by ads. It never had subscription plans or premium features.
The Picuki app is a different story. The Picuki subscription plans in the app are listed as InstaStory Pro at $6.99, Monthly Pro at $12.99 and Yearly Pro at $99.99. That is the only real Picuki pricing I could find in 2026, and the Yearly Pro plan is about as close to "Picuki premium pricing" as it gets.
Is There a Picuki Promo Code?
No. I looked for a Picuki promo code, a Picuki discount code and any Picuki offers or latest offers. I could not find a single verified offer, either for the old site or for the app. With no offer, there is no offer eligibility to check either.
Be careful with coupon pages that list "Picuki promo code 2026". Since the original tool was free, there was never anything to discount. Any coupon you see either belongs to the paid app, or it was never real. Check coupon validity before you trust it.
Picuki Free vs Paid Features
To keep it simple:
Free: the old website, which no longer works for Instagram.
Paid: the app, which charges a subscription cost for most viewing and saving.
If saving money is your goal, the best savings come from skipping the app's pricing plans and using a free alternative instead.
Is Picuki Safe? The Risk Has Moved to the Copycats
The original Picuki was mostly safe, because it never asked for your Instagram password. That rule still matters more than anything else in this review.
The risk today is different. It comes from sites borrowing the Picuki name.
Here is what I would watch for:
Redirects. My test of picuki.me shows how a familiar name can send you somewhere you never meant to go.
Login requests. No real Instagram viewer needs your Instagram password. If a site asks for it, close the tab. That is your account security on the line.
"Private account viewers". No tool can show private Instagram profiles. Any site that promises it is lying, and often wants your details or money.
Surveys and download gates. If a viewer asks you to install an app or complete a survey first, leave.
There are also privacy considerations for the people you look at. Viewing public content is one thing. Using these tools to keep tabs on someone who has blocked you is another, and most viewer sites ban that in their own terms of service.
Picuki Not Working? Here Is What to Do Instead
If you are seeing "Picuki not working" errors, here is why: it is not a glitch on your side. The Instagram viewer was replaced.
So there are no real Picuki not working solutions to try on your end. Do not clear your cache, switch your VPN or try a different mobile browser. None of it will bring Picuki back.
What you should do instead:
Delete any old Picuki bookmark. It now leads to TikTok.
Do not search for "new Picuki" domains. That is how people land on redirects like the one I hit.
Pick one of the Picuki website alternatives below, plus one backup. These tools go down often, so having two saves time.
Never enter your Instagram login on any viewer site, no matter what it promises.
Picuki Alternatives I Would Use Now
These are the best Picuki alternatives in 2026 I would use, and the closest websites like Picuki I could find. I tested Imginn myself. For the others, I checked their own websites and what they say they offer. Here is how they compare.
How the Picuki alternatives stack up, based on my test and what each site says about itself.
Picuki vs Imginn
Imginn is the closest thing to the old Picuki I found. It works as a simple Instagram public profile viewer.
Imginn loaded NASA's public profile, posts and tabs when I tested it as a Picuki alternative.
When I opened NASA's public profile on Imginn, it loaded the follower count, the bio and a grid of posts in seconds. It had tabs for Posts, Stories, Reels and Tagged, plus an HD profile picture option. Some reviews say Imginn now runs a security check before profiles load. I did not see one in my test.
My browser tab closed before I could open the Stories tab, so I cannot confirm how well Stories work.
What it does not have is Picuki's hashtag search or photo editor.
Picuki vs Dumpor
Dumpor was Picuki's biggest rival, and it is still up. If Imginn is down, Dumpor is the Imginn alternative I would try next. As a Dumpor Instagram viewer, its website lists a story viewer, profile viewer, Reels and Highlights viewer, tagged posts, and followers and following lists, all free with no login.
It also links to sister sites called SmiHub and Greatfon. One review site describes SmiHub as Dumpor's rebrand. I did not test Dumpor myself this time, so treat these as the site's own claims.
Picuki vs AnonyIG
This is not a full AnonyIG review, but here is what stood out. AnonyIG focuses on Stories, so it is one of the better Picuki alternatives for Instagram Stories. Its website lists public Stories, Highlights, Reels, posts and profile pictures, with downloads and no sign-up.
It calls itself "ad-free" with "no trackers". But another review I read said its cookie popup listed close to 300 ad partners. Those two claims do not fit together, so I would be careful.
If You Want a Paid, Cleaner Option
Paid Instagram viewers trade a monthly fee for fewer ads and steadier service. I tested one of them, InstaPV, and its free plan gave me only one lookup a day. You can read my full InstaPV review before you pay for anything.
Inflact Instagram tools are another paid choice, aimed more at marketers who also want Instagram analytics.
My Take on Picuki in 2026
Picuki had a good run. It was simple, free and did exactly what people wanted.
But that tool is gone. The name now leads to TikTok, an ad redirect, a parked page and a paid app. None of them is the Picuki people remember.
So my advice is to stop looking for Picuki itself. Bookmark a working alternative like Imginn, keep a second one as backup, and never give any viewer site your Instagram password.
Picuki Questions, Answered Quickly
What is Picuki?
Picuki was a free website for browsing public Instagram profiles, posts, Stories and hashtags without logging in. It also had a simple online photo editor. It no longer works for Instagram.
How does Picuki work?
Picuki used to work by fetching public Instagram content through its own servers, so you could browse profiles, posts and Stories without logging in. Today, picuki.com no longer offers this and redirects to a TikTok viewer.
Is Picuki still working in 2026?
No. When I tested it in October 2026, picuki.com redirected to Tikvib, a TikTok viewer. There is no Instagram viewer on the site anymore.
Is Picuki safe to use?
The original site was mostly safe because it never asked for a login. Today, the risk comes from copycat domains. In my test, picuki.me sent me to an ad redirect that tracked my location and device. Avoid unknown Picuki domains completely.
Is Picuki a legitimate Instagram viewer?
It was a real and popular tool, but it no longer works for Instagram. Today, sites using the Picuki name are either unrelated, parked or risky, so none of them is a legitimate Picuki Instagram viewer.
Is Picuki free to use?
The original Picuki website was free. The iPhone app called Picuki is free to download but charges for its features, with plans at $6.99, $12.99 a month and $99.99 a year.
Does Picuki offer discounts or a promo code?
No. I could not find a verified Picuki promo code, discount code or offer in 2026. The old website was free, so there was never anything to discount.
Why is Picuki not working?
Picuki stopped working because its main domain now points to a TikTok viewer. It is not your browser, your VPN or your internet. No fix will bring the Instagram version back.
Can Picuki view private Instagram accounts?
No. Picuki only ever showed public content. No legitimate tool can show private Instagram accounts, so any site claiming to do so should be avoided.
What are the best Picuki alternatives?
In my test, Imginn worked best as a Picuki replacement for public profiles and posts. Dumpor and AnonyIG are other free options, and paid tools like InstaPV and Inflact suit people who need steadier, ad-free access.
Note: This Picuki review is based on my own tests on October 29, 2026. These sites change often, so a domain may lead somewhere different by the time you read this. Please respect other people's privacy and copyright when using any Instagram viewer.
